Beaches
There are over 15 miles of sandy beaches within the Great Yarmouth area, from Winterton-on-Sea in the north to Hopton-on-Sea in the south, the hotel is situated just a minute walk from the main 'Central Beach'.
Norfolk Broads
Just a short drive away from Great Yarmouth you will find the Norfolk Broads, together with historical and beautiful waterways, traditional windmills and plenty of wildlife in their natural surroundings. Don't forget to hire a narrow boat for the day & take in the relaxing sites.
Entertainment
Great Yarmouth offers an array of entertainment to suit all tastes. Live shows during the summer months feature many of Britain's favorite entertainers from Jimmy Carr to the Chuckle Brothers at The Britannia Pier as well as the Gorleston Pavilion Theatre offering all year round seaside entertainment.
Special Events
The Great Yarmouth area hosts many special events throughout the year including the Maritime Festival on Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th September 2010 with BBC 1's 'Bang Goes the Theory', the Eastern Fesitval at Great Yarmouth Racecourse 14th - 16th September and popular Norwegian Christmas Fayre 26th - 28th November 2010.
The 2010 'Soccer on the Sands' tournament is held Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th June, Great Yarmouth's 1st Dance Festival 2nd - 4th July, the festival of outdoor Bowls is hosted 29th August - 24th September, and the 2009 smash 'Out There Festival' returns for 2010 Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th September.
