Reservation Policy

Bookings are only confirmed if supported by a credit card guarantee or deposit paid. All deposits and pre payments are non-refundable.
If an account to company has been requested, a credit card is required as a guarantee upon making a booking. We then require a fax confirmation (on headed paper) or an email, to be received by the hotel before the guest’s arrival stating the billing requirements. If not received prior to the guest, the guest will be asked to pay on arrival. PLEASE NOTE: A credit agreement between the company & hotel must be in place before bill back can be agreed. All payments and/or deposits do not include children unless stated upon booking a family room; if upon arrival at the hotel with additional children not stated at time of booking these persons are payable/charged upon departure.
Payment for accommodation must be made before or on departure as required at registration. The hotel will not be liable for any failure to provide specific rooms requested as a result of events or matters outside the hotel control.
Check in time is 2.00pm, if you require an earlier check-in please contact the hotel direct & we will do our best to accommodate you. To guarantee early arrival please call us on 01493 855070 ext 1, early check-ins are subject to availability, a £10.00 charge will be made for this service.
Check out time is 11.00am. Late check outs are subject to a charge of £10.00 for every extra hour – this can be pre-arranged with the hotel directly.
If a guest wishes to vacate earlier than the departure date booked they must inform reception by 11:00am on the required day. Failure to do so will result in that nights full room rate being charged. If booked via an advance rate (discounted pre-paid) the nightly rate can not be refunded.

Individual bookings may be cancelled without penalty up until 12.00noon day of arrival*.
Guests are reminded that in the unfortunate event of them having to cancel their reservation outside our cancellation policy the first night’s accommodation will be charged without further reference, they incur a liability to reimburse the hotel for any loss, which may arise as a result. Please cancel your reservation via the same booking system the reservation was made with i.e. travel agent, internet, hotel booking system etc.
If booked via an advance rate (discounted pre-paid) the payment is taken at time of booking, the nightly rate can not be refunded, amended or changed in any way.
*unless otherwise stated in a corporate account & this does not apply to ‘Advance’ pre pay bookings

Inclusive Meals & Packages
Meals not taken will not be refunded. HALF BOARD terms do not refer or imply BAR SNACKS
Should any signed unpaid charges arise after departure, the hotel reserves the right to charge your credit card accordingly, a receipt will be forwarded.
Except in their rooms, Clients and their guests may not consume food or drink on the premises that have not been supplied by the hotel.

The hotel operates a strict no smoking policy. If it is found that you have been smoking in the room a £30.00 per day surcharge will be applied to your bill for specialised cleaning.

Lost Room Key
If a key is not returned to the hotel upon check-out a £100.00 replacement fee will be charged to the gaurentee card given. If a key is found after check-out by a guest, they should contact the hotel & post back to the address given, any charge will then be re-funded to the guest card.

Clients and their guests are required to conduct themselves in a reasonable manner at all times. Unruly clients and their guests will be evicted with no refund of monies paid.
The hotel reserves the right to hold the client liable for any loss or damage to its property, fixtures and fittings, including items hired for their use. They may also be held liable for injury to any persons, including the hotel staff, that arises from client’s actions.
The hotel will not be liable for any failure to provide, or delay in providing, facilities or services as a result of events or matters outside the hotel control.
The hotel will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the requirements of each client are met. However, the hotel reserves the right to provide alternative services of at least comparable standard at no cost to the client.
Due to the nature of “Stag/Hen nights” and the disruption it has caused to our guests, we no longer entertain requests to host or accommodate these in future and should your bookings be deemed as such, we reserve the right not to accept them and/or request you to vacate the hotel.

The Comfort Hotel Great Yarmouth reserves the right to alter or amend these Terms and Conditions of Business at any time.
